My Story

I grew up in Amarillo, Texas, where sports were a way of life. From an early age, I was always competing—whether it was on the golf course, the baseball field, or anywhere I had the chance to push myself. Those years taught me discipline, resilience, and the value of showing up every day with a purpose.

That mindset led me to the University of Houston–Victoria, where I earned the opportunity to play collegiate golf. Competing at that level challenged me mentally and physically, teaching me that success isn't built through one perfect moment—it's built through thousands of small decisions to keep improving.

After college, I spent three years as a golf instructor, helping players of all ages develop their skills and confidence. While teaching golf, I realized that the lessons extended far beyond the game. The people who improved the most weren't always the most talented—they were the ones who stayed consistent, embraced challenges, and never stopped striving to become better.

That philosophy became the foundation of Evercrest.
